Hi, Reader. If you've been following the latest deals in the points and miles world, you've probably already heard about the incredibly generous promotion with Paze that offers a $10 statement credit on a $10 purchase when you pay with an eligible credit card. While this offer is capped at $100 back per eligible card, there’s no limit on how many different credit cards you can use.
When this promotion first launched, there were several easy ways to maximize the statement credit. Unfortunately, many of those opportunities disappeared quickly — making it much harder to take advantage of the offer.
Fortunately, one option still works — and I've been putting it to good use.
Thanks to having 17 eligible credit cards, I'm on track to earn $1,700 in free Dunkin' Donuts gift cards. While most people won't have nearly that many eligible cards, the process works the same whether you have one card or a few dozen.
Here's what I've learned after making dozens of purchases — and how you can take advantage of this promotion as well.

Institutions Own 80% of the S&P 500. Here Are 10 Stocks They're Buying Into Now
Institutions own 80% of the S&P 500, and when they move, markets follow. Right now they're moving steadily into AI, with institutional buying hitting its highest levels of the year in Q4 2025, alongside the cloud wars, wearable tech, and a handful of under-the-radar names tied to entirely new industries.
This free report names 10 stocks set to soar in 2026, including next-gen battery makers seeing revenue growth approaching 200%, air taxi companies nearing commercial launch, and small modular nuclear reactors poised to meet surging AI data center demand. The tailwinds are lining up, but not every stock will benefit equally.
Eligible credit cards enrolled in Paze — which is a digital wallet and online checkout solution — receive $10 back when making a qualifying $10 purchase at more than 20 participating merchants (some merchants include United Airlines, Dunkin’, Sephora, Fanatics, and StubHub). Since the statement credit covers the entire purchase amount, you're essentially getting the item — or in this case, a gift card — for free. The offer runs through September 10th, 2026, so there's still plenty of time to max it out.
Some of the most common eligible credit card issuers include Bank of America, Capital One, Chase, Citi, and Wells Fargo. Unfortunately, American Express isn’t one of them.
When the promotion first became available, many people were purchasing third-party gift cards through Newegg. It was an easy way to turn the credit into gift cards from a variety of merchants. I personally picked up $50 worth of UberEats gift cards at the time.
That opportunity didn't last long, and I didn’t jump on it quickly enough to fully maximize the opportunity.
After that, I needed to find another way to trigger the $10 credit. After all, statement credits — whether they are part of annual card benefits or limited time offers — are one of my favorite credit card perks.
That's when I turned to Dunkin'. Some of the other merchants such as Sephora and Fanatics just don’t seem to work for me (and I’ve read similar reports).
Dunkin' gift cards still work, but with a catch
At first, buying Dunkin' gift cards was incredibly easy.
I could purchase one $10 digital gift card after another using the same eligible credit card, triggering multiple statement credits without any waiting.
Like many other opportunities, that also didn’t last too long.
But there’s still a way — even weeks after the promotion launched. Dunkin' now limits Paze gift card purchases to one transaction every 24 hours per card.
Even more importantly — and something I learned the hard way: If you try making another purchase before the full 24 hours have elapsed, the transaction won't go through. Instead, you’ll receive a red error message at the top of the screen, and the 24-hour waiting period starts over.
Because I have 17 eligible credit cards, I've simply built a routine. Every 24 hours (plus 30 extra minutes for safekeeping), I purchase another $10 Dunkin’ gift card. I have a spreadsheet keeping track of which credit cards I’ve maxed out on, and which cards still have credits remaining.
Fortunately, it takes about a minute per day, which is well worth my time for a free $10 Dunkin’ gift card.
For me, by the time I’ve maxed out all 17 cards, I’ll be walking away with about $1,700 in Dunkin’ gift cards — 17 eligible credit cards multiplied by $100 per card. There have also been times when I’ve used Paze to purchase $10+ worth of food or drinks directly from Dunkin’. Those purchases still trigger the statement credit, but don’t impact the 24-hour clock for buying gift cards.
I understand that’s not a “normal” number of credit cards — especially eligible cards — so I don’t expect most people to be racking up that much in gift cards with this promotion.
But even if you have just one eligible card, that’s an easy $100 in free Dunkin’. And for every additional card, you’re looking at $100 more.
Is it worth the effort?
In my opinion, absolutely! It takes a few minutes to initially link your credit card to Paze, but after that, redeeming the offer takes less than a minute each day.
Just remember: If you go the Dunkin’ gift card route, wait a full 24 hours before making another purchase. A failed attempt resets the clock. Keep track of which cards you’ve used so you don’t go over the $100 limit per card. And while the promotion states that it could take up to two billing cycles to receive the statement credit, in my experience, mine have generally posted in just a few weeks.
So yes, if you’re willing to spend a little bit of time each day, this has been one of the easiest credit card promotions of the year. I’m walking away with more than a year's worth of Dunkin' — and definitely enjoying it!
AirTags are a “must have” for your next trip
Before you jet off on your next getaway, grab a 4-pack of AirTags and place them in all your checked luggage — and even your carry-ons. You’ll feel much more secure when traveling, and if your luggage does get lost, you’ll have a much easier time tracking it down.
Coffee shops usually count toward a card's dining bonus category — but not always. A cafe inside a grocery store, airport, or hotel often codes as the host merchant instead, so your latte may not earn the dining rate.
